[Reminder] [Reminder] Circular On Workshop On Developmental Screening In Children

The national policy for empowering the determined ones has been launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid AlMaktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, segues with the country’s commitment to seamlessly integrate determined ones needs with the mainstream.

The national policy is based on empowering the determined ones through number of themes; one of the themes is Health & Rehabilitation

This theme focuses on providing comprehensive– high Quality health care that will contribute to expanding healthcare programs & services provided for all segments.

Dubai Health Authority has worked on developing a comprehensive and integrated model for screening, detection,diagnosis and early intervention services for developmental, physical and mental disabilities involving all children and ensuring their submission to screening to ensure the early detection of developmental, physical, mental orintellectual delay in their early stages and take appropriate action.

DHA considers private health sector a strategic partner and looking forward in implementing this program at the level of Emirates of Dubai hand by hand.

 

A comprehensive training will be conducted on 17^th October 2018 for the private facilities healthcare professionals providing child health and pediatric services to introduce the program implementation & monitoring.
